The primary activities of the TSPCA involve
caring for our dogs and cats, providing them with food,
medical care, a safe haven, the opportunity to learn basic
manners, and lots of tender loving care.
We celebrate success every single time one of
our pets is matched to the right people and goes home to
begin new life.

Here are highlights of our services and
programs:
-
Rescue, rehabilitate, adoptions
-
PAL (Pets are Love) teams of volunteers
along with friendly dogs regularly visit 25 area nursing
homes for home residents to share some time with a furry
friend.
-
Hundreds of cruelty investigations are
conducted annually in response to phone calls and emails
reporting animal abuse and neglect in a multi-county
area.
-
The foster care program offers special
safe, quiet and nurturing care to new moms and babies
until the newborn puppies and kittens are ready to be
adopted.
-
Our community outreach program takes
educational presentations to schools, special interest
groups and organizations carrying information about
animal care, responsibility of guardianship, and
welfare.
-
Low cost vaccinations for adult dogs and
cats, puppies and kittens are offered through our once
weekly vaccination clinic. Tests for common diseases
and disorders are also available.
-
Our mobile adoption center (MAC) hits the
road loaded with some of our special pets looking for
homes. MAC visits many locations regularly and also
participates in festivals, parades, and other community
celebrations.
