We love to hear from our adopting families.  Here are some stories about new companionship between people and pets, along with some fun photos of new life for our alumni dogs and cats.
 

Domino

Well, Domino is home and everything is good.  His new sister put up a small fight for about 5 minutes.  Now they are playing and chasing each other around the backyard, and even sharing the same water bowl.  I think we have friends for life.  Thank you Tulsa SPCA!!

Violet

Hello to all of you at the SPCA. Just wanted to let you know that Violet is doing very well and especially loves her new back yard!

She has lots of toys and her favorite toy is a baby pink pig. She had her first vet visit with my vet and he says that she is very healthy.

We are getting the 2nd round of shots next week. Here are some pics of Vi for you all to look at.

King and Nece

King and Nece are doing beautifully.  We love them so much.  They have become house dogs and stay in at every opportunity.

For the past week (since the day I talked on the phone with you), Nece has slept all night in the crate. 

We give her a Kong filled with dog food and peanut butter and she doesn't make a peep all night.   This has been a relief to me as it has eliminated her wandering in the middle of the night and I believe, helped to ensure she is house trained. 

Since she knows she will get the Kong, she heads straight for the crate each night at bedtime. 
 

The only issue left to work on is how they deal with people who come to the house.  King is doing fine.  As soon as he realizes they are okay, he is friendly and quiet.  Nece is  hard to calm down.  So far, she hasn't made friends with anyone.  Any suggestions from you or your staff?

Fez

Hello! I wanted to write and give you an update on Fez. We've had him over a month now and he is fantastic! He is a super-friendly cat and loves attention and being around people.

He has grown quite a bit since we brought him home, he has quite the hearty appetite!!

He gets lots of love from our family, Jake, and Lilly give him tons of attention!

Our entire experience at the TulsaSPCA was truly a great one and I've already recommended you to friends that might be looking to adopt a pet in the future. We are so glad that we decided to come to the TSPCA and give a good home to a pet that needed one. I think it was fate that we got Fez, we saw his picture online and thought he was cute and he was the first cat we saw in the cattery, I think he even came up to us when we walked in the door!

Reese and Precious

Couldn't resist sending these two photos.  The game is tug and they play often and for what seems like hours! 
Reese finally comes to the back patio to escape his new soul (play) mate and then she follows and still wants to play some more!!

Joey

Hey everyone, here I am in my new home.  My new name is Joey and my new kid loves me very much.  My people can't get better pictures of me because I LOVE to jump at the camera and go wild. 

I have a new friend that that moved in across the street that is a Doberman and we chase each other around the backyard. 

I have lots of new toys and a bed that I love.  The cats here still don't like me but the other dog is slowly warming up.  My people say thanks for letting me come live with them, we have a lot of fun together.  We will send more pictures when I can calm down a bit. :)
