Speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves

Giving a voice to the animals is one of our primary purposes.  Some of the ways we do that and our messages are:

·        Offering safe haven for lost, abandoned, neglected and abused animals

·        Matching pets for adoption with people   

·        Promoting spay and neuter of all dogs and cats

·        Working toward reduction of numbers of animals euthanized at the city’s municipal animal shelter

·        Educating children and adults about the care pets require for their wellbeing and their humane treatment

·        Working to build a positive bond between people and pets

·        Investigating reports of animal cruelty and abuse and assisting in recovery of the animals and prosecution of individuals in violation of state animal cruelty laws
