Milo’s Happy Tail

Milo (formerly Spin) found himself in our shelter a few times through no fault of his own. All he needed was the right family—and he certainly found it! Now, he’s living his best life with a couple who know how special he is and who were patient enough to let him settle in at his own pace. Here’s what Milo has been up to since his adoption:

“It has been a little over a month since we have adopted our furry friend whom we now know as Milo. It took Milo a few days to find his place and get comfortable, however he has now claimed his favorite spot on the couch, and has gotten more comfortable with his daily routine. He loves his daily walks around the pond and his naps with his favorite sheep toy that he’s had since he left the Tulsa SPCA. Milo loves listening to calming jazz music when it’s time for bed and he gets very excited when he wakes in the morning for his morning walk. Every now and then he gets the zoomies and rips around the living room in circles, or rolls around and plays with us and his toys. Milo also loves to cuddle with us on the couch and watch TV with us, whether it be reality TV, dramas, or comedies. He doesn’t quite understand why mom cries so much while watching Grey’s Anatomy, but he knows that crawling on her and attempting to lick her face always makes her laugh. Milo gets very excited when dad gets home from work, he is always at the door to greet him and is ready to play. Milo also had his very first bath with us a few days ago and he was so brave! We took things slow and he got many treats as a reward after for being such a rockstar!

We are so fortunate to have found Milo, we are learning more about him everyday and it is very heartwarming seeing him get more comfortable with his surroundings.”
