Today is National Hairball Awareness Day! Those who have the pleasure of having cats in your life know what it's like for your fur baby to get a hairball. According to the ASPCA, while cats are typically great at grooming themselves, there are things we can do to minimize hairballs.
🐾 Let your cat sniff and get familiar with the brush before starting.
🐾Brush your cat during calmer periods of the day, not when they’re ready to play.
🐾Tire your cat out before brushing with an interactive game.
🐾Be patient, brush slowly at first, and offer plenty of praise and a treat.
