ScarletMeet Scarlet. Unfortunately, Scarlet was one of four dogs who did not find a forever home during Clear the Shelters. We want so badly for Scarlet to find her perfect family. So, we are continuing the “name your price” adoption promotion until the end of the month.

Scarlet is a five-year-old American Bulldog. She is a bit overweight and currently on a diet. She weighs 84 lbs and in order for her to be healthier she needs to be closer to the 70-75 lb range. She doesn’t get along with other dogs or cats and is very much an inside dog. She is super sweet and loves to play ball with you. She jumps around and chases her toys. The squeaky toys are her favorite. She does enjoy going for short walks and also enjoys cooling down with the water hose or a kiddie pool. We would recommend a home with older children since she is a bit timid with younger kids. She would be great for apartment life or single person home, but it’s not a must.

Celica

Celica is one of four dogs NOT adopted during the Clear the Shelters event. For the remainder of the month, her adoption donation is “name your price”. Come by to meet Celica. Maybe she would be the perfect fit for your family!

Celica is a one-year-old Shepherd mix. She is a ball of energy and loves to explore. She runs and swims in her kiddie pool all day, but would love to explore the rest of the world as much and as fast as possible. She loves playing with toys and would love to have someone to play with her. She also does calm down and enjoys belly rubs. She loves to be pampered with petting and brushing. Celica isn’t a big fan of other dogs or cats, but will tolerate them on the other side of a fence. She is a sweet soul that is misunderstood sometimes because of her energy level.

CharlieThis is Charlie! Poor Charlie was not one of our lucky dogs to find a home at the Clear the Shelters event. But because we know he would make a great addition to a family, we are extending our “name your price” adoption for Charlie until the end of the month! Come out to meet him!

Charlie is a one-year-old Australian Shepherd mix. He is a very busy guy. He loves to bury his tennis ball and dig it up frequently, in fact, he will do it all day if he doesn’t have someone to throw the ball for him. He is very smart and will retrieve his ball when asked. He hasn’t learned to stop nipping at your hands while you try to leash him so in order to control his nipping he must have a toy in his mouth. He will get one if you ask him. He also enjoys his kiddie pool, but goes wildly insane for a sprinkler or the water hose. True to his breed, he needs a job to keep him busy. He is extremely picky about his dog friends and he doesn’t like cats. We would recommend older children due to his nipping.

SheRa

Meet SheRa! One of four Tulsa SPCA dogs not adopted during the Clear the Shelters event. For the remainder of the month, SheRa’s adoption donation is “name your price”! Come on out to meet her!

SheRa is a two year old Boxer mix. She is very dog/cat aggressive and will have to be the only animal in the household. She would make a great running partner and could use some leash training. She does, however, know some commands and has great manners.

She would also enjoy hanging out and watching movies and cuddling with you in the evening. Careful though, she will eat all the popcorn. She isn’t much for kiddie pools and water hoses so you will have to keep an eye on her in the heat to make sure she doesn’t get too hot.

If you have a place in your home for SheRa, contact the Tulsa SPCA!
